Symposium on “TechTransform 2024” – Digital transformation, transforming yourself

In order to help students clearly understand the nature, the trends and the benefits of digital transformation in the modern business context; at the same time, creating opportunities for students to interact and learn with experts, lecturers and those experienced in the field of digital transformation, thereby arousing passion and career orientation for them, the School of Business Information Technology – UEH College of Technology and Design (UEH – CTD) organized the symposium “TechTransform 2024” and attracted a large number of students.

In today’s social era, the phrase “digital transformation” is no longer new. With the success of the 4th industrial revolution, digital transformation is an inevitable trend for countries, organizations, businesses and consumers around the world. The huge changes in labor productivity, user experience and new business models that are being formed show the huge role and impact of digital transformation in today’s social life. Coming to “TechTransform 2024”, students have the opportunity to meet quality speakers with extensive experience. Thanks to that, students know more about the career of a digital transformation consultant and gain more information about registration methods, selection and training processes to participate in the potential field of digital transformation consulting.

At the symposium, from the School of Business Information Technology, there was the participation of Mr. Phan Hien – Deputy Dean of School of Business Information Technology, UEH – CTD. On the speaker’s side, there was the presence of Mr. Bui Xuan Huy – Program Director of enterprise resource training system; Dr. Duong Van Thinh – International expert on AI technology and data from France; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang – CEO CDS-CAPITAL X and Dr. Le Thi Thanh Tam – Head of the National Creative Student Village, Co-Head of the National Invention Village and Innovation Enterprise, with the participation of comrades from the School’s Student Association and especially the attention from more than 200 students.

The symposium opened with a talk about “TechTransform Overview ” presented by Mr. Bui Xuan Huy. The speaker presentedan overview of digital transformation as well as how digital transformation changes the face of modern businesses.

The program was followed by the session of Dr. Duong Van Thinh on the topic “NextGen Enterprise: The Future of Enterprise Management “. The speaker outlined new business management trends and steps for applying technology to optimize and innovate for business success. In addition, the section provided practical case studies of tools that businesses have used for digital transformation.

Presenting the topic “FutureBizTech Summit: Exploring Business Management Technology”, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang brought more specific information concerning the digital economic era along with the benefits it has brought to people, businesses, and society. In addition, the speaker indicated specific numbers showing the increasing need for businesses to implement digital transformation and the disadvantages businesses may encounter if they do not do so and access digital transformation. Digital transformation in the digital era is increasingly developing and expanding as it is today.

Also within the framework of the symposium, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Tam presented the topic “TalentTech Connect “. In this section, the speaker introduced the role and importance of digital transformation consultants in the current context; the skills, knowledge and qualities needed to become an excellent digital transformation consultant. Through this, it helped students better understand the work of a digital transformation consultant. At the same time, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Tam emphasized the importance of a digital transformation consultant in the era of technological development and career opportunities in this field.

Closing the speakers’ session, UEH students enthusiastically discussed with the them, asking questions surrounding issues related to digital transformation. With their practical experience, the speakers dedicatedly answered the problems that students encountered, helping students acquire knowledge and have a more specific orientation for the process of getting closer to digital transformation for their own lives.
