Cooperation Signing Ceremony And Awarding “Knowledge Bookcase” Between UEH College Of Business And Bidv Ben Nghe Branch

On the morning of 1^st April 2022, the Cooperation Signing Ceremony and Awarding “Knowledge Bookcase” between UEH College of Business and BIDV Ben Nghe Branch was held at Campus B (279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Ward 5, District 10, HCMC). This event tended to assert and expand cooperation relationships in training, fostering and developing high-quality human resources which contributes to the growth of the national economy in general and advances scientific-researching and advisory competence of both sides in particular.

UEH representatives participated are comprised of Assoc. Prof. Bui Thanh Trang – Vice President at UEH College of Busines and Dean at School of International Business – Marketing; Master Dinh Thi Thu Hong – Dean at School of Finance; Master Le Dat Chi – Vice Dean at School of Finance. In terms of BIDV Ben Nghe branch, there was the attendance of Director Tran Thanh Linh; Assistant Director – Tran Thi Thu Ha; Head of Corporate Client Department 1 – Vu Minh Duc together with the mutual appearance of guests and lecturers from all Schools, Faculties and Departments.

Sharing this mutual cooperation relationship, Assoc. Prof. Bui Thanh Trang stated: “Carrying out the UEH mission in training high-quality human resources in the field of business orienting to integration and knowledge transferring to be global citizens, one of the development strategies at School of Business is to train prospective-job successful learners and to promote personal potential. Therefore, in addition to intellectual equipment, we put the priority on skills and encourage students to join business semesters, business-field tours as well as invite experts to share their experiences. Over the years, UEH has signed a range of cooperation agreements with business partners which opens internship and career opportunities for thousands of students annually. In recent years, of the units that have cooperated with the School of Finance, BIDV Ben Nghe branch is also the partner that has been accepting internship students with their participation in business semesters, recruiting graduates as well as coordinating and supportive activities for students. Currently, UEH College of Business and BIDV Ben Nghe branch officially sign a memorandum of cooperation with a desire to further mutual relationship expansion in training, consulting, fostering and developing high-quality human resources, especially in the field of Finance – Banking. I do congratulate the more and more successful cooperation between UEH College of Business and BIDV bank Ben Nghe branch.”

Director of BIDV bank Ben Nghe branch – Tran Thanh Linh shared: “UEH, with more than 46 years of establishment and development, has trained a great number of talented generations to serve the national economy, many of which have been working in important BIDV positions. We are aiming to find young, well-trained and high-quality human resources there to contribute and lead to the desirable growth of BIDV. Also, we are on an innovative journey and digital comprehensive transformation for the whole employees who receive conditions to experience the change of recruitment, working and internship environment. Due to this reason, recently, UEH and BIDV officially signed MoU and MoA which create a chance to educate high-quality human resources, enlarge career opportunities for new graduates, and a future collaboration in researching scientific topics, deploying new products and services following international trends. We hope that the two-sided cooperation relationship will achieve good results.”

To assert and expand the cooperation relationship in training, fostering and developing high-quality human resources which contribute to the growth of the national economy in general, and advance scientific researching competence and mutual advice, UEH College of Business and BIDV bank Ben Nghe branch decide to sign 5-year cooperation agreement (2022 – 2026) on some major fields: training connection with practice (specific programs in 2022 listed as Internship Program/ Business Semester; Business Field Tour; Sharing-reality and Training-skill Experts; Building and evaluating training programs; Sharing knowledge with corporates); Connecting to conduct research and projects; Connecting to attract human resources; Connecting to the fund – “Connecting the community – Spreading knowledge – Acting sustainably” (Incubating talents; International reaching ; Spreading knowledge).

Besides, on this cooperation occasion, BIDV Ben Nghe Branch implements initial activities in the cooperation contents in 2022 which is awarding Knowledge Bookcase valued 20 million VND for students of the Finance – Banking field, UEH College of Business, assisting students to have additional sources of specialized study and research files in the learning process at UEH.
