UEH Green Campus

Living Lab UEH Green Campus transforms UEH into a green university across 13 campuses and 2 branches of UEH, through: (1) Waste management, (2) Emission management, (3) Manage energy use effectively, (4) Transportation management, (5) Management of inequality, fairness, (6) Building, landscape & biodiversity management, (7) Manage support services for disabled people, (8) Occupational safety & environmental health management, (9) Food service management, and (10) Manage purchasing activities. Up to now, the project has been implemented for 3 years with 6,4 tons of recycled waste, 6 products in the green university ecosystem, 71 green research topics of students, 350 articles of lectures/ researchers, and nearly 60 green living activities/ events.

UEH Connecting

The Connecting the Community – Spreading Knowledge – Sustainable Action program aims to connect a network of 500 corporate partners and 240,000 alumni to contribute to and promote sustainable values in education through five key areas of engagement: (1) Connecting training with practical experience, (2) Connecting to conduct research and projects, (3) Connecting to attract human resources, (4) Connecting ideas, startup projects, creative innovation, and (5) Giving to UEH program. To date, the program has facilitated 506 workforce development activities for partners, 70 classes with business participation, 66 multilateral conferences and seminars, 26 startup projects, and nearly VND 65 billion in contributions to education through the Giving To UEH Fund.

UEH Giving

The project connects partners, shares, sponsors resources, and together fulfills responsibilities to society and the community through the Giving To UEH Fund, through 4 categories: (1) Talent Cultivation, (2) Reaching International Level, (3) Spreading Knowledge, (4) Sustainable Action. Up to now, there have been 49 billion VND in scholarships, 3 billion VND in international reach categories, 7,7 billion VND for spreading knowledge, and 4,5 billion VND in contributions to support sustainable projects at UEH.

UEH Global

The project supports digital transformation, spreading STEM knowledge and sustainable career guidance for teachers and students of high schools in the Mekong Delta, South Central and Central Highlands provinces, through: (1) Free transfer of the E-Learning system, (2) short-term training courses on digital transformation of schools, innovation, STEM knowledge, sustainable development, (3) sustainable career guidance activities, (4) large-scale STEM practice competition for students. Up to now, the project has been deployed to 17 provinces, 84 secondary and high schools, 2500 teachers, and 17815 students.

UEH Research Contribution

The UEH Academic Brand Program with the message “Research Contribution For All” spreads scientific research and applied knowledge across various disciplines from UEH for the community. This is the extended arm of UEH in carrying out its mission to disseminate knowledge for the community, contributing to the sustainable development of the country and the globe. To date, the UEH Academic Brand Podcast series has disseminated over 200 contemporary topics, 100 research papers related to the 17 SDGs, with more than 500,000 community engagements.
