Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony Between UEH And YOOT Technology And Training Joint Stock Company In 2022

On the morning of February 24^th, 2022, at Room B1.204, Campus 279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) organized the cooperation agreement signing ceremony with YOOT Technology and Training Joint Stock Company. This event has affirmed and expanded the cooperation relationship in training, fostering, and developing high-quality human resources, contributing to the economic development of the country, and at the same time, improving research capacity, scientific research, consulting of the two organizations.

Attending the signing ceremony, in terms of UEH, there were: Assoc. Prof. Bui Thanh Trang – Vice Head of UEH College of Business, Dean of School of International Business – Marketing; Dr. Hoang Cuu Long – Vice Dean of School of International Business – Marketing.

In terms of YOOT Technology and Training Joint Stock Company, there were: Mr. Vo Thuy – Deputy General Director; Mr. Phan Duy Minh Hoang – Senior Director of Business Development and the attendance of distinguished guests, lecturers of colleges, schools, departments, functions of the 2 units.

Overview of the Signing Ceremony between UEH School of Business and YOOT Technology and Training Joint Stock Company

Speaking at the opening of the Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Bui Thanh Trang – Vice Head of UEH School of Business shared: “In 2021, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City implemented a restructuring strategy, aiming at a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, simultaneously, launched 3 member Colleges including UEH College of Business; UEH College of Economics, Law and Government; UEH College of Technology and Design, in which, UEH College of Business has a large scale with 6 Schools. In the process of establishment and development, UEH has signed cooperation agreements with a number of partners, comprising YOOT Technology and Training Joint Stock Company. It is hoped that the cooperation between UEH College of Business and YOOT will bring benefits to both sides, and especially bring much efficiency in improving the quality of training for students. I would like to sincerely thank YOOT for accompanying UEH College of Business towards long-term cooperation.”

Mr. Vo Thuy – Deputy General Director of YOOT Technology and Training Joint Stock Company emphasized: “I have special feelings upon returning UEH today because I used to be a UEH student. More particularly, today, YOOT and UEH signed a cooperation agreement, which is the premise for a long-term and strong relationship. YOOT has a social network to serve students, instruct them in job application skills, understand the wishes of employers, and so on; therefore, the cooperation of YOOT and UEH will be achieved by transforming the advantages available from both sides into specific programs, supporting students to study well and open their career paths. UEH educates good and high-quality labor resources, while YOOT connects with good employers, the resonance of the two sides will create positive values ​​for students and employers, contributing to socio-economic development.”

In accordance with the action minutes, UEH and YOOT will jointly cooperate on the following contents:

• Connecting practical to training through Internship Program/ Business Semester; “Hành trang tư thế chuẩn bị đi thực tập, tìm việc” Workshop; Skill training program and support for connecting internships and jobs for students; Jointly developing and evaluating training programs; Sharing knowledge to businesses.
• Connecting to carry out research and projects: UEH and YOOT experts, lecturers, and students jointly participate in conducting research topics, practical projects implemented by the two sides, jointly organizing seminars and talks to deal with important and urgent economic issues or topics concerning the community; Coordinating to consult projects based on personal needs.
• Connecting to attract human resources: Joining Internship and Career Day Ho Chi Minh City in 2022 organized by UEH; Spreading the brands recruiting.
• Funding Contribution – Together with UEH “Connecting the community – Spreading knowledge –  Acting Sustainably”: YOOT joins with UEH’s major activities and events listed as scientific conferences; academic research activities, specialized academic competitions (for the whole city); Student movements, volunteering and so on.

YOOT Technology and Training Joint Stock Company was established in August 2019 by successful Entrepreneurs in the field of technology and training, sharing the same ideals and enthusiasm to improve the capacity of students, in order to meet the demands for qualified human resources of Vietnamese enterprises in the era of integration and industrialization of the country. YOOT develops technology platforms to help students: Choosing the right majors – Practicing soft skills – Developing qualities – Connecting students with employers.
