[UEH 50 Years] The A.116 Heritage Map is gradually being filled with stories
21 July, 2026
Hundreds of seats on the A.116 Heritage Hall Map have already been chosen. Hundreds of messages have been left behind. Behind each mark lies stories, memories, and the affection of the UEHer community. Following the enthusiastic response from former staff, current staff, and employees of UEH in the first phase, the “Place a Seat – Send a Thousand Legacies to the Future” program officially extends to the alumni community and partners, completing the Heritage Map towards the 50th anniversary of UEH’s establishment.
The accompaniment of the UEHer community is shaping the A.116 Heritage Map
After a short period of implementation, the “Place a Seat – Send a Thousand Legacies to the Future” program has recorded significant participation from the UEHer community. To date, 384/734 seats, equivalent to over 52% of the A.116 Heritage Map, have been reserved.
These are not merely progress statistics; they are evidence of the connection between the UEHer community and the University. Each seat carries a message, a personal mark, and a desire to accompany UEH on its journey ahead.
Highlights of the program’s significant milestones
Each seat tells a story
From the seats that have been selected, the A.116 Heritage Map is gradually emerging as a picture of connection across generations of UEHers. Each message tells a different story, yet all share a common aspiration: to leave a part of their journey at UEH and entrust their faith to the generations who will continue to study, research, work, and grow under this institution. This is the most authentic manifestation of the ONE UEH spirit.
Many lecturers have entrusted their belief to the generations who will continue to sit in the A.116 Hall:
“Those who sit here today are the future of UEH. Study with all your heart, live with kindness, and dare to dream big. Ms. Hoang Ngo believes in you.” – Ms. Ngo Diem Hoang.
For Mr. Cao Van Tien, each mark left today carries the meaning of passing on to the future: “Leaving today’s seat so that future generations have a foundation. Wishing UEH 50 years of writing new chapters with knowledge, aspiration, and responsibility to the community..”
And for Mr. Truong Van Phung – former staff member of UEH, he wishes to entrust his belief in the University’s next development phase: “Continuing to promote UEH’s role in the national education and training mission.”

The A.116 Heritage Map continues to welcome new stories from the Alumni community and Partners
Continuing this journey, the “Place a Seat – Send a Thousand Legacies to the Future” program officially enters its second phase, extending to the alumni community and partners – those who have studied, accompanied, collaborated, and contributed to the University’s nearly 50-year journey.
A.116 – a place connected to generations of alumni
Each selected seat not only bears the name of its companion but also becomes part of the A.116 Heritage – a place that will continue to welcome convocation ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, academic conferences, and new generations of students for many years to come.
Towards the 50th anniversary milestone, UEH respectfully invites the alumni community and partners to become part of the A.116 Heritage Map.
