[UEH 50 Years] “Place a Seat – Send a Thousand Legacies to the Future”: A Once-in-50-year opportunity for ONE UEH to join hands

Co-creating the milestone of its 50th anniversary, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) officially introduces the “Place a Seat – Send a Thousand Legacies to the Future” program to the UEHer community – an invitation to accompany and continue the story of A.116, the symbolic space tied to half a century of UEH’s development.
There are milestones to look back upon, to reflect on a journey traveled.
And there are also milestones for each person to choose what they will leave for the future.
For UEH, the 50-year milestone is not only an occasion to reflect on the values cultivated across generations but also a moment to prepare for the future.
And A.116 Hall – the iconic space of half a century of “nurturing talent and connecting people” – is one such choice. In its fourth renovation in 50 years, A.116 will emerge with a more modern, more international appearance, better equipped for academic activities, conferences, and innovation connectivity in the next phase of development.
But what UEH wishes to preserve is not merely a renewed facility, but the depth of the values that A.116 has, is, and will continue to represent. That is the spirit of “co-creating together – Together We Share” of the One UEH collective.
Let us each leave a part of our story behind, to quietly shine alongside future generations.
The fourth “renovation” of A.116 Hall at the 50-year milestone is, more than ever, a time to preserve the imprints of those who have studied, worked, and grown under this institution’s roof.
It is a time to connect the generations of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Whether a blessing to leave behind, a sincere expression of gratitude, or a simple seat bearing your name in the years to come.
That is why the “Place a Seat – Send a Thousand Legacies to the Future” program is extended as an invitation for every former staff member, current staff, employee, and those who hold UEH dear to leave a piece of their story for A.116.

To enable UEHers everywhere to easily participate, the program is implemented through the UEH Giving Portal “Place a Seat – Send a Thousand Legacies to the Future.”
In just a few simple steps, each person can:
- Log in to the Giving Portal [https://givingseat50.ueh.edu.vn/] using their UEHer email account;
- Select the desired seat on the A.116 Hall layout;
- Send a message to UEH on the occasion of its 50th anniversary;
- Complete registration and online payment.
Upon successful confirmation, participants will receive a confirmation email from the system along with information about UEH’s appreciation gifts.

To enable each UEHer to choose a suitable form of companionship, the program is designed with 04 seating areas within the hall.
