Aimed at establishing a sustainable learning and working environment, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) not only focuses on reducing emissions and saving energy but also attends to the essential daily needs of the UEH community. One of the practical activities is the free drinking water program, which helps students, lecturers, and staff easily access clean, safe, and convenient water sources right on campus.
Currently, all UEH facilities are equipped with free drinking water dispensers on every academic floor, serving the daily hydration needs of all learners and personnel. Specifically, in meeting rooms, working areas, and lecturers’ rooms, the University installs separate hot and cold water dispenser systems from reputable brands such as Panasonic, Toshiba, etc., ensuring quality and convenience. Through this activity, UEH aims to promote the habit of carrying personal reusable bottles, reducing plastic waste, and collectively building a green, clean, and sustainable university environment.

Free drinking water is also provided at dormitory facilities. To ensure efficient use of water resources, UEH has issued a regulation on the proper use of water dispensers.
The water source is subject to quarterly quality control by the equipment supplier and the UEH Department of Facilities Management, ensuring compliance with drinking water standards according to QCVN 01:2009/BYT.
