INTRODUCTION
As one of the strategic products of UEH in the journey to reduce single-use plastic waste and promote sustainable living practices, it calls for the implementation of two main actions: #SortingForChange – emphasizing proper waste sorting to support recycling, and #ReduceForMore – advocating for the reduction of single-use plastic consumption. At the same time, it introduces the community to nine actions to minimize single-use plastic in daily life, such as bringing personal items and saying no to single-use plastic packaging. Additionally, UEH has designated the last Wednesday of each month as “No Single-use Plastic Day,” a day for everyone to practice a lifestyle free from single-use plastics in a thorough and effective manner.
