“Education and lifelong learning” represents one of the strategic pillars in UEH’s development orientation toward becoming a Multidisciplinary, Sustainable, and Socially Responsible University. Policies supporting lifelong learning are manifested through:
+UEH Development Strategy 2021–2030, oriented toward an open learning university that shares knowledge with the community.
+ Charter of Organization and Operation (2023), affirming UEH’s role in providing learning opportunities, retraining, and capacity building for learners of all ages.
+ UEH Green Campus Initiative & UEH Lifelong Learning Hub: integrating training activities, workshops, exhibitions, and community learning communication.
In 2024, UEH hosted and organized over 120 educational events at UEH campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long, open to the public, with free admission or mixed free and paid formats, covering topics including language and skills development, STEM education, entrepreneurship and innovation, arts, cultural diversity, sustainability, and international academic conferences.

All events feature publicly available information (portal pages/registration) and verifiable documentation (recaps, agendas, photographs).
Through these initiatives, UEH fully satisfies the requirements of indicator 4.3.2 regarding the organization of inclusive educational events open to the public, while demonstrating social impact through the quantity, frequency, and level of community engagement beyond the university. These efforts advance equitable education and universal education principles by removing barriers to access to education and fostering continuous learning opportunities for diverse populations, including vulnerable groups, thereby contributing to global education objectives and sustainable development goals.
