This policy is implemented in accordance with:

+ Charter of Organization and Operation (2023), affirming UEH’s role in providing learning opportunities, retraining, and capacity building for learners of all ages.
+ UEH Green Campus Initiative & UEH Lifelong Learning Hub: integrating training activities, workshops, exhibitions, and community learning communications.
The policy applies throughout the UEH system, including Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long Branch (UEH Mekong), and all training units, institutes, centers, and strategic partners domestically and internationally, covering all forms of learning and training at UEH. The university implements the following principles: equal access; non-discrimination; safety – inclusion – respect for diversity; needs-based support; information transparency; reasonable pricing; comprehensive accessibility for persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups:

Compared to 2023, the 2024 policy was comprehensively “upgraded” to a systematic policy with clear mechanisms. UEH recorded notable quantitative results:

+ 9 students with disabilities received policy support and accessible facilities.
+ Over 70 billion VND in scholarships and financial support awarded.
+ 235 international scholarships and exchange opportunities for domestic and international students.
+ 1,000 students in the Mekong region participated in campus tours and skills programs.
The 2024 lifelong learning policy demonstrates the transition from “equitable learning support” to “inclusive, measurable policy with clear social impact”, reflected in the integration of “Lifelong Learning Access Policy” into UEH Strategy 2021–2030, Charter of Organization & Operation; significantly increased number of activities, expanded implementation scope for all of UEH and domestic/international partners, serving students – working people – community – international learners – strong evidence of a UEH that is open learning – sustainable – community-responsible.
