WORKSHOP: “FOOD LOSS IN THE CATFISH (PANGASIUS)VALUE CHAIN OF THE MEKONG RIVER BASIN”
The research project entitled “Food Loss in the Catfish (Pangasius) Value Chain of the Mekong River Basin” was approved by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training on August 28th, 2022 per Decision No.2426/QD-BGDDT. The project was funded by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), within the ACIAR Food Loss Program framework and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), from April 1st 2023 to June 30th 2026.
The project aims to support sustainable catfish Pangasius industry development in the Mekong Delta. The Health and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (HAPRI) of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) lunches the kick-off workshop entitled “Food Loss in the Catfish (Pangasius) Value Chain of the Mekong River Basin” to introduce the details of the project and the collaboration among relevant stakeholders to implement the project in the Mekong Delta.
