Opening Ceremony of the Senior Management Training Course 2024 for Vietnam Rubber Group

On the morning of March 21, 2024, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in collaboration with Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VGR) solemnly organized the Opening Ceremony of the Senior Management Training Course 2024 for learners from Vietnam Rubber Group. This activity was under the frame of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on training and fostering human resources between the two units.

Attending the Opening Ceremony, in terms of UEH, there was the presence of Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Director of UEH; Mr. Truong Minh Kiet – Head of Department of Marketing and Communication; Associate Professor Pham Quang Huy – Deputy Head of Department of Undergraduate Training, Lecturer of Topic 2 in the training course; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Son – Deputy Head of Department of Undergraduate Training and Dr. Dinh Tien Minh – Head of Department of Marketing, School of International Business – Marketing, UEH College of Business – Lecturer of Topic 1 in the training course.

On the side of Vietnam Rubber Group, there was the attendance of Mr. Le Dinh Buu Tri – Deputy General Director of VRG; Mr. Vu Tien Hoang Dao – Deputy Head of the Personnel Organization Department, together with the learners of the Senior Management Training Course 2024.

Overview of the Opening Ceremony

Speaking at the opening of the course, Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Director of UEH – emphasized “As a key university in Vietnam, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City always desires to contribute its efforts to the development of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the country in general. Continuing to promote its role and strengths, implementing the contents of the MoU between University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam Rubber Group, UEH coordinated with the VRG to launch the training course on Senior Management – Vietnam Rubber Group – VRG 2024. To organize the course according to the VRG’s requirements, UEH has developed a new program, applied new legal regulations, invited lecturers with firm specilaizations and practical experiences to involve in teaching; prepared facilities for classes, and applied technology in class organization and management. On behalf of UEH and VRG Leaders, I would like to announce the opening of the training course SENIOR MANAGEMENT – VIETNAM RUBBER GROUP – VRG 2024. I wish all learners to study well and gain a lot of useful knowledge to apply in practical work at your unit.”

Representing VGR, Mr. Le Dinh Buu Tri – Deputy General Director of Vietnam Rubber Group – stated: “Throughout its formation process, Vietnam Rubber Industry Group always develops stably and sustainably, achieves the set targets while affirming its important role in the country’s socio-economic, security-defense, and rural development. In the upcoming time, in order to perform well and complete the tasks assigned by the Government, VRG’s leaders determine that investment in people is the key factor. In addition to selection and planning, VGR leaders emphasize on training, fostering, and updating professional knowledge for senior officials in a various aspects including: science, economics, business, administration, management, and law to contributes to improving the professionalism of learners and the application of knowledge to working practices, and improving the efficiency for the development of the VRG and the national economy. I believe that the Senior Management Training Course 2024 marks a milestone in close cooperation between UEH and VGR in opening up new directions in future staff training. ”

Senior Management Training Course 2024 – Vietnam Rubber Group is aimed at leaders of departments/divisions and leaders of member units under VRG. The course includes 5 topics organized over 3 days (morning, afternoon) in the form of in-person study at UEH from March 21 to 23, 2024. At the end of the course, learners will take a multiple-choice test. Those who meet the requirements will be issued a course completion certificate by UEH and VRG.

After nearly 50 years of establishment and development, UEH always promotes its strengths in training through coordinating to develop short-term training courses to update knowledge for leaders and senior managers of business, especially those with state and defense capital such as Vietnam Electricity Group, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City Hospital, 175 Military Hospital, Liksin Printing and Packaging Corporation, 16 Single-Member Limited Liability Company (16th Corps) to meet high-quality human resources in the public sector capable of implementing a strong socio-economic development strategy alongside the policies of the Party and Government.
