Opening ceremony of the training course “Finance for Administrators” – Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation in 2022

In the morning of 17th May 2022, at B1.205 Auditorium, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) organized the Opening ceremony of the training course “Finance for Administrators” in 2022 for 58 learners working at Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC).

Attending the opening ceremony, representatives of UEH were Prof. Su Dinh Thanh – President of UEH; Assoc. Prof. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet – Chairman of Strategic and Policy Advisory Council; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao – Head of Department of Undergraduate Training; Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy – Head of Department of Continuing Education; and Heads of Units/ Departments and lecturers.

Representatives of EVNHCMC were Mr. Nguyen Duy Quoc Viet – Deputy General Director;  Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh – Deputy Head of Human Resource Department, and the presents of 58 learners of the training course “Finance for Administrators” in 2022.

The overview of the opening ceremony

Opening the course, Prof. Su Dinh Thanh – President of UEH shared: “Carrying out the cooperation agreement between University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation in 2022, last April, UEH organized the training course for administrators at level 3 with 139 learners. Three classes currently finished and the fourth one is expected to be open in the early June 2022. Promoting the effects, UEH and Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation continue to implement the training course “Finance for Administrators” for 58 learners. To hold the course according to EVNHCMC, UEH built the training program and invited lecturers who have enough knowledge and practical experiences to teach, prepared the facilities for serving in the classroom, and applied technology in classroom organization and management. Representing the Head of UEH and the Head of EVNHCMC, I do claim to open the training course “Finance for Administrators” in 2022. Wish all learners to study well, and gain a lot of useful knowledge to apply in practical work at the units.”

Nguyen Duy Quoc Viet – Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC shared: “To perform the training program to advance the quality of the human resources of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation, the EVNHCMC and UEH held the training program “Finance for Administrators” for 58 learners. Throughout this class, we expect that learners can acquire the knowledge in financial assignment for leaders, to contribute for better management tasks and executive the corporation more effectively. I do send our  biggest thank for the support and the cooperation from UEH, and the lecturers who accepted to finish this course.”

The training course “Finance for Administrators” – Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation organized in 2022 for 58 learners who are Head of the Board in the corporation, Director, Deputy Director and Chief Accountants at level-3 units. The training course includes 6 subjects: Purpose of corporate financial management, Explaining information of financial reports, Measuring corporate financial achievement and management, Financial market and supportive tools, Analyzing business activities and financial planning, Management and company control. The course was divided into three classes, each class was held in 3 days (in the morning/ afternoon) by online platform in UEH from 17th to  27th May. At the end of the course, learners will have a thematic multiple-choice test. Successful learners will be granted a certificate of course completion by UEH and EVNHCMC.
